Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders
For the past three years, the Harvard Club of France (HCF) has enabled two talented students from the underserved city of Saint-Denis to attend Harvard Summer School each year, with all expenses covered, through the Harvard French Scholarship Fund (HFSF).
We are delighted to announce a new partnership with Fondation Archery, which empowers young talents from less privileged backgrounds, helping them unlock their potential and become agents of positive change. Through academic excellence, leadership, and artistic expression, Archery nurtures future professionals and leaders committed to building a fairer, more resilient society.
Our shared values and ambitions make this partnership a natural fit and marks an exciting step forward for HFSF:
- National Reach: We are expanding our student search beyond Saint-Denis to cover all of France.
- Public Benefit : as a French foundation 'reconnue d'utilité publique', the Archery Foundation enables donors to benefit from tax deductibility on their financial contributions under the French mécénat framework.
Join us to celebrate this new chapter!
Hear directly from returning students and meet the newest cohort, as well as the Archery and HFSF leadership teams. Discover firsthand how these programs transform students’ perspectives, and how supporting their journeys can be equally rewarding.
The conversation will be followed by a cocktail reception.
*** Call for Mentors: Shape a Student’s Journey
Together with Fondation Archery, we are launching a enhanced mentoring initiative. This year, 10 high-potential students will be selected for our pre-application cohort. They will receive intensive English instruction and one-on-one mentorship from HCF members. Ultimately, two of these students will earn a full scholarship to Harvard Summer School 2027.
As a mentor, you will engage in informal exchanges to discuss their goals, offer international perspective, and guide them through their Harvard Summer School applications.
Even for those not heading to Cambridge, this guidance is life-changing—and for HCF members, it is a deeply rewarding way to give back.
Who we are looking for: HCF members eager to share their experience, inspire bright minds, and champion mobility for young talent.
