July Drinks: A Special Evening with HBS Professor Tarun Khanna
For our upcoming July Drinks, the Harvard Club of France has a special treat for you: we are delighted to welcome Professor Tarun Khanna of Harvard Business School, who has generously agreed to spend the evening with us and informally share his insights on entrepreneurship, leadership, and economic development in emerging markets. in particular, on Dealing with Extreme Heat: Tech imbalances and Business as Solution.
Tarun Khanna is the Jorge Paulo Lemann Professor at Harvard Business School. For more than three decades, he has studied entrepreneurship as a means to social and economic development in emerging countries. A member of the HBS faculty since 1993, he earned degrees from Princeton and Harvard and has taught strategy, entrepreneurship, and economic development to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as senior executives around the world. Check his recent interview on How Extreme Heat is Becoming a Workplace Hazard.
We will gather again at our favorite summer venue: Péniche Le Son de la Terre, nestled right on the Port de Montebello, offering one of the most beautiful views of Notre-Dame.
And for those who'd like to continue the evening by watching the FIFA Club World Cup Final, rest assured, there are plenty of nearby bars that will be screening the match.
Stephanie, HCF president, and Phil, HCF board member, will be your hosts.
Let's keep on learning and celebrate the summer together. We can't wait to see you there!
